This video shows you how to make clamps out of Plumbers drain pipe.

Now plumbing drain pipe come in al kinds of diameters.

The most common would be 3 and 4 inch and that will make a great set of small clamps.

On a commercial construction site you'll find scraps of larger pipe – 6, 8 , 10 or maybe 12 inches or occasionally larger.

Have you ever wanted to clamp something 12 inches in from the edge of a board?

You could do it with clamps made from this large diameter pipe.

The force on the clamp could be made larger by making wider clamps than shown in the video.
