Here is a door locking trick you can do with a dinner fork.
The video shows cutting the handle off the fork to but there are probably other things you could use for a wedge if a hack saw wasn't handy.

Yes, it will. It’s basic leverage. It sort of creates a deadbolt. The fork will have to be pretty strong though.
I would just use a chair that every home should have, what a waste of time.

Kudos to Obama for stating the obvious….I laughed.
Couple back and forths on the door would jar that handle loose and thereby render the improvised lock ineffective.
