A hundred bucks is a lot of money for a gardening system designed for just starter plants. Those cups will result in lots of transplanting and won’t hold plants long. Looks like a lot of work and a lot of money for something temporary. I don’t think so.

So before the roots have grown long enough to extend through the holes in the cups, and into the PVC pipe, how do they receive water? Is it that the clay pebbles are wick up water flowing through the pvc to reach the roots?
