The Old Wooden Tools Of Days Gone By Can Be A Real Pleasure To Use

At least the ones that were well made and in good shape are.

I just went down to the shop to have a look at my spoke shaves. I have 5 of them of varying designs, but no old wooden ones.

Just for fun I gave them a go on an old board that was clamped in the vice, – they felt good to use.

In the video on the next page you will see an antique spoke shave being adjusted, sharpened and used.
