How To Weld Aluminum Without Using A Welder

Welding Aluminum

.

It Can Be Done Because Aluminum Is A Soft Metal With A Relatively Low Melting Point

What You'll need is a propane torch and some aluminum brazing rods.

The first step is to clean your joints thoroughly and then put a bevel on the ends to make room for the melted brazing .

Now aluminum melts at about 1200 degrees and the rod will melt first at 900 degrees.

So all you have to do is get the aluminum hot enough to melt the rod and let it flow into the bevel you created at the joint.
