The Sharper The Axe The Less Effort That Is Required

Sharpening Axes and hatchets is a pretty simple process really, the hard part is to prevent those sharp blades of yours from hitting the rocks and dirt that put all those nicks in the blades.

As will be explained in the video – not all axes are created equal.

Some are for splitting wood, requiring a larger sharpening angle and others are for felling trees and cutting wood, they have a smaller ange at the blade which allows them to penetrate deeper and cut faster.
