Dragon ships were large long boats, with mystical creatures carved at their bow and stern.

The dragon  ship: Dragon Harald Fairhair was built a few years ago and this video gives you some insights on how these ships were built.

This ship was built using the old Norwegian clinker built methods, combined with Norse literature records and archaeological studies.

The goal was to create a ship with superb sea worthiness as told in the old Norse sagas.
