When was the last time you adjusted your circular saw?

Circular saws need adjustment from time to time.

You need to check the angle of the blade relative to the base plate and make sure the 90º adjustment stop is set correctly.

You also need to check that the blade is parallel to the base plate and check to see if the base plate is bent.
